What did Warren Buffett see in the "Moddy's manual" to start buying BRK.A, Berkshire Hathaway?
I came across these pictures from March 26, 2015. I was completely obsessed with understanding how Warren Buffett used to make decisions with limited information, back in the day he didn't have computers, or access to much information at all, except for print media and maybe a phone call. I thought it was important to learn this because I was trap in a constant loop of "I need more information" I thought that in order to have an edge I needed to know more than 99.99% of the people out there about a company. So I went into eBay and bought old stock manuals described in Buffett's biography " The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life" by Alice Schroeder. And I would find companies described there, so I could see what he saw over 40 years ago. What I learned is to avoid the overflow of information that we have today. Is really about the big picture, sales, income, cash flow. Of course, this only makes sense within the context. Here is an example...
